課程概述

在本課程中，我們將學習用於保護電腦或網路上資訊﹝包括軟體及資料﹞安全的自動化工具的設計及其原理，主要焦點為密碼學技術的基本知識及應用。
我們將研讀W. Stallings 所著教課書的大部分內容，以及課堂上提供的講義及補充教材。
 

課程目標
 使學生熟悉資訊系統及網路上的安全議題，並在資訊安全基礎技術，特別是密碼學，及其在電子商務、資訊網路安全等實務上之應用，給與適當之訓練。 
課程要求
 先修課程：作業系統及電腦網路。
本課程包括兩次考試、數次作業、一次參訪活動及一個專題計畫。
